Dr. Bob Vecchiotti is an experienced business advisor and professional coach. His leadership and coaching competencies were well honed in the aerospace and consulting industries as the manager of long-range business planning, and president and CEO respectively. His specific business development and coaching skills include designing and implementing tailored strategy development programs, coaching many managers and corporate executives to higher levels of leadership performance, enhancing the ability of senior teams to be more cohesive and collaborative, coaching business owners to achieve higher earnings, building leadership pipelines with predictive hiring assessments, tailored interviews, and an effective on-boarding process. He currently applies his leadership expertise and experiences to benefit both start-ups and small established companies. His work with business owners includes assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each company, providing feedback and recommendations for leadership improvements, coaching owners on how to successfully make necessary changes to improve leadership effectiveness and increase earnings, and to develop tailored leadership training programs that facilitate achieving company objectives. As examples, he’s recommended and facilitated hiring COOs, stimulated new lines of business, assisted with designing new organizational structures, and facilitated tailored executive succession plans. For internal candidates for leadership opportunities, he provides assessment, coaching, and advancement recommendations. Dr. Vecchiotti works closely with the HR function to develop sustainable programs that build bench strength. The process continues to evolve as circumstances change. He’s made invited presentations to business and service organizations on women as business leaders, leadership development, strategy planning, and business planning for the recovery. He prepares a monthly business column for the Keene Sentinel. Topics have included: succession planning, big data and small businesses, the loneliness at the top, the many generations at work, dealing with a troublesome employee, the tyranny of mobile phones, and leadership styles.
